Genesis Among “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” in Chicago

Mon Jan 01, 2018

Genesis Technologies was named one of the 2018 "Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®" by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR).

This is the sixth time the Northbrook-based business has received the award, which honors companies that "distinguish themselves as having the most innovative and thoughtful human resources approach."

About the Award

Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For award is part of a program designed to celebrate companies whose workplace culture contributes to better businesses, richer lives and stronger communities.

Winners are chosen by an independent research firm that evaluates entries based on factors that include compensation, benefits, employee enrichment, diversity, work/life balance, retention, community initiatives, and employee achievement and recognition. Genesis was honored in the small business category.

"Profitability and stability is essential for businesses in today's economic climate," said Jennifer Kluge, president and CEO of B&B Programs. "Companies that recognize that their employees are the key to their success achieve staying power."

An Honor

Genesis Technologies CEO Michael Kahn said the award is an important honor for the company, where investing in company culture is a top priority.

"We are honored to be recognized as one of the Best and Brightest Places to Work For," Kahn said. "We work hard at creating an environment that allows our employees to thrive so that they can offer top-notch service to our customers."

The national honor is presented to companies at award ceremonies in Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Detroit, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, Milwaukee, and Grand Rapids.

Chicago-area winners will be honored at a luncheon on July 27 at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace.
